I was born in California and raised on the East Coast. My experience in strategic communication, journalism, and policy research — paired with my passion for public service — has allowed me to work with various federal agencies, nonprofits, political campaigns, and advocacy groups.
I currently serve as Communications Director at the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders, where I am responsible for promoting executive branch efforts to advance equity, justice, and opportunity for AA and NHPI communities. Prior to joining the Initiative, I co-founded The Yappie, a nonprofit newsroom focused on AA and NHPI policy news and activism.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Rutgers University—New Brunswick with joint degrees in political science and communication, along with a minor in entrepreneurship. In my free time, I enjoy photography and searching for the perfect soup dumpling.
