FEATURED PROJECT

A May to Remember

Branding one of the largest in-person events ever hosted by the White House in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Overview

On May 3, 2023, the White House and the White House Initiative on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders (WHIAANHPI) hosted The White House Forum on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders – a historic convening of more than 1,300 community members from over two dozen states and U.S. territories. The all-day forum was the largest in-person event ever hosted by the Biden-Harris Administration in celebration of AA and NHPI Heritage Month and sought to promote robust dialogue through more than a dozen breakout convenings, panels, and performances.

The Challenge

As Communications Advisor at WHIAANHPI, I was responsible for building out the event’s entire visual identity, promotional + press strategy, and cross-platform experience in a way that brought the Biden-Harris Administration’s 2023 theme of “Visible Together” to life.
